Amit Agam

Amit Agam is a Senior Software Engineer at Seal Security, based in the Tel Aviv area, with interests in cybersecurity and data science. He writes about the gaps between when a fix exists and when users can safely consume it, including the unreleased pip fix for CVE-2025-8869 and why operating system context matters when identifying a package version. He has also written about how Seal's R&D team built AI assistance into the tools its engineers already use. He studied at The Open University of Israel.
