Itamar Sher

Itamar Sher is the CEO and co-founder of Seal Security. He spent five years as a low-level security researcher in Unit 8200, then joined Cymmetria as its first employee and later served as its Head of Research. A longtime vulnerability researcher and reverse engineer, he has presented research on detecting and bypassing honeypots at Black Hat USA, the Chaos Communication Congress (32C3) and BSidesSF. On the Seal blog he writes about software supply chain attacks, compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, PCI DSS and NYDFS, and how security teams can remediate open source vulnerabilities at scale.
