Senior Backend Engineer

Seal Security is a rapidly growing B2B Startup in the early stages. Our mission is to enables companies to automate and scale open source vulnerability remediation, providing organizations with centralized control over the vulnerability patching process.

We're seeking a core team member with a strong security research background. This individual will work closely with our CTO on the company's foundational technology.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end development of backend software components (research, design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring).
  • Contribute to technological and architectural decisions.
  • Conduct design and code reviews.
  • Analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various backend system components

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in backend engineering with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, Golang).
  • Extensive experience in security research (e.g., vulnerability research, exploits).
    • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
    • Micro-services based architecture experience.
    • An agile mindset adaptable to a startup's dynamic environment.
